Pitchers/Hitters Stats

Hey guys,

I looked up some info from previous OOTP games and was given a look list of stats to look for when selecting/trading players.
Is there a few 'main' stats/form that I need to mainly look for when it comes to pitchers and hitters?

WAR is the one stat to rule them all.

For hitters, i'd check their OPS and their zone rating for fielding.
For pitchers, ERA and BABIP.
