Hey Eugene, I hope you don't if I highjack your thread.
![]() I really like SDP's logos. The Friar is really well done in those logos. I am starting a league in 1980, and the logo that is SDP's avatar is the only one I can find online. I love that logo, but it cuts off the bat in every version on the net. I was wondering if someone wanted to venture a try and trying to capture the feel of that logo as best as possible, perhaps using the friar in SDP's logo that he made. If someone gets to it, I'd like it to be brown and gold similar to SDP's avatar, and perhaps havae a circle around it. I really love the logos with the circle around them, especially when they have the writing inside of the circle. If not, it's no big deal, and thanks for letting me post in here Eugene.

It is great to hear from you again. I miss seeing your great graphics creations. As you can see, we know have a logo and graphics subforum all to ourselves. This makes the "Mods" people happy and also make the "Logo and Graphics" people happy. I started me a new league beginning in 1901 and am getting a few more logos designed. Feel free to do some of them. AND YES, YES, YES...you can take over this entire thread if you want...or any thread I post. That is no problem whatsoever. I really appreciate what you, Markmeister, dbacks and Shub did designing all those great logos for me. |

Thanks Eugene.
![]() I am a lot like you in logo taste. I like them simple, which is why I think I really like the circle look that Dbacks did for me for several old logos. I am surprised to find that there are not a lot of good 1980s logos available on-line. I just started my own thread so I wouldn't have to clutter up yours.
