I just played a team in an Iron tournament that had Newcombe in the bullpen. But, also used him at DH. Card was showing 85 contact! Is this right?

Don Newcombe is the best Iron hitter in the game, and it is not even close.

He's even pretty good in Bronze, even in Bronze tournaments he'll get on base more than almost any player except Leibold, although if OPS is the measure you can get a significantly better bronze DH for 20 times less PP on the auction house.
