Just discovered this game last week when my HS baseball coach introduced it to the team to start an online league.

I've created kinda a test league to explore the game world.
When i get around to making a game just for me to play, what leagues are considered "must have" to make the game enjoyable and challenging all at once?

What mods do i need for the best current day experience?

and lastly, is this Perfect game thing basically MUT?

It depends how you play. I only play MLB, usually focusing on one team so I only load up MLB and all the minors for MLB. If you want to do a journeyman manager, then you could do MLB and all the independent leagues. I've also seen people do the Italian or Japanese league and also load up MLB to see how many of their players they can get to the MLB. There's a billion ways to play.

You don't need any but there are cool picture packs, alternate logos/uniforms and stadiums that you can download. The base game (with facegen) is perfect though, everything else is just extra and depends on what you want.

and lastly, is this Perfect game thing basically MUT?

Kind of. It's fun even if you're a Free To Play player. I've also learned about so many historic players that I never knew existed.
