Park Factors
After reading a couple of other threads, i was interested in looking at the Park Factors in the default 2020 league as i was seeing a little more high home runs guys and they typically played in Philly/Cincy/Colorado. I found this thread interesting about OOTP XX: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...t=park+factors
Looking at the data in OOTP 21, there does appear to be more differentiation by handedness. For example PNC Park is .96 for LH and .79 for RH which feels right even though the 2019 real data from BP shows them pretty equal, but 2018 had a more pronounced split. Baseball Prospectus has good data by year / park / handedness here: https://legacy.baseballprospectus.co...hp?cid=2804677 going back to 1871. If i downloaded that data for a recent multi-year period would and plugged those numbers in would I get something similar to what is in OOTP and/or good results? |

Lack of responses means you've signed yourself up to do the experiment and report back.
