Ladder playoff setup is now available! KBO uses this in case you wondering. Works great for no sub-league non division leagues where higher seeds are rewarded for there good records and don't have to play in the initial rounds until much later and conversely barely making the playoffs means you have a tough road ahead of you.

Yoooooooo! Total game changer! I had a League in 20 that I quit playing because I hated setting up the playoffs at the end of each season, just to lose in the first round and continue maintenance on the rest of the league. I guess I could start winning, but this is a much better fix!

Also, my workaround was to schedule the games leading up to the championship as exhibition, but then the historical standings wouldn’t reflect runs by say a 6th ranked team that actually finished 3rd. Thanks for posting!
