Cuban Fictional League Question
If I had a Cuban Fictional league to mu existing solo league to be played in the "background" how can I get those players to leave the league without enabling the financial system? Will they attempt to leave on their own?

What I do with Cuba is turn off the reserve clause era rules, set 25 years to free agency and allow players to be purchased by other leagues for some large sum ($2.5 million in my current, contemporary era game). The money represents the player's defection expenses. It goes to the Cuban team, which is unrealistic, but the Cubans can't do anything useful with it, since they'll have hardly any FA's available to hire.

There was an agreement before the start of last season for cuba and mlb but congress overturned it because it violated sanctions.
you can google the agreement and try to translate it to ootp terms the other problem is ootp posting rules are out dated. everything now is based on a certain % of the signing bonus that is how much goes to the international team. but that is only for buyouts and posting. not the normal free agency stuff.
