Collection Mission Questions

Hi everyone,

I haven't played OOTP since 15 or 16. I'm new to the perfect team format, but it's really cool so far. I watched the tutorial videos, but i have a few questions about collection missions:

1. Once I complete a collection, the cards must be kept forever? Does this mean if I complete the Colorado Rockies live and a few of them are on my roster that they'll stay there forever? In other words, once I upgrade on Jon Gray, will I be able to make him inactive, or will he be on my active roster for good?

2. Duplicate cards don't work, right? I can't have 20 cards and 6 duplicates to complete a set?

1) You can make locked cards inactive, never to be seen again (until you go look at your inactive cards).

2) Duplicates don't count.
