Pitcher type

I've simmed 20 years into the future and taken over a struggling club with a view to rebuilding. My intention is to run a moneyball model, using OBP to value hitters and trading players before they demand huge contracts.

Offense, I'm comfortable with.

When it comes to pitchers, I'd like to set up the whole organisation as a pipeline for a certain type of pitcher. That is, hire pitching coaches who specialilse in the same pitcher type - power pitcher/groundballer/finesse pitcher etc. throughoutthe organisation and try to only employ piters which fit.

Now the question:

Which type of pitcher do I go for? Does it even matter?
