That makes sense, thanks.

This is a bug. I will add it to the discussion I am having with Matt. Originally it was working.

This is correct. But may not be what you want.

I am working on some setup guidance, but there are a couple of bugs Matt said he'd look at next week which need to be addressed first.

When you are setting up your feeder, do you want most of the players to go thru HS and Col (or HS-JuCo-Col) or are you looking for players set up at different levels each year. (For sake of example along the lines of the percentages in the quote).

If the former, then you want the feeders set up so few if any college or Juco players are created. The math is different than what the popup provides. To make this work effectively 2 bugs must be addressed, so I will save you the math until they are addressed.

You still cannot import historical players into feeder leagues

If you do not enable feeder leagues there HS/Col players and no "go to college" ability. Your draft pool is generated each year with different age players. Undrafted players become free agents.

When I added a foreign league to my universe, my JUCO players in my MLB feeder stopped progressing too - they would stay as freshman until they reached the maximum age limit. This wouldn't happen if I turned off the amateur draft in my foreign league, however. I'm assuming this is related.

Thanks.

Also, JUCO players will occasionally join another JUCO program rather than a 4-year college after finishing JUCO.

To my post above, I found when I added a foreign league, HS players would progress as normal and JUCO and college players would progress as normal unless they were drafted and were unable to sign, in which case they wouldn't progress a year (e.g. they would still be juniors even after finishing their junior year). JUCO and college players who went undrafted would progress as normal. When the foreign league was removed, all players would progress as normal.

l love the feature though Right now I just use commissioner mode in the offseason to move players up to the correct year

I'm experiencing that the new feeder system does not work and it appears to be a carry over issue from OOTPXX. I have players returning to college after being undrafted at an age higher than the maximum age setting. They should remain as FA no? I also have the same issue with HS to COL feeders, HS players undrafted at 17 sit and are not on rosters if you use the limits in the game manual since they need to be at 18 to enter COL. I also have INT league players again above the age limit for COL entering COL at 25+ years old.

Right now the new feeder rules are almost prefect however and unfortunately this is a big however...if college juniors don't sign with a pro team or are not drafted they return to an entirely new feeder team for their senior year. Total immersion killer if you are running one of those feeder schools. Can this be fixed?

Same here. Would love to be able to fully kick back and watch the feeder do it's thing, but alas this particularly mechanism and JuCos messing with eventual draft eligibility, specifically for those players that then move onto college, there's scope for tinkering. Hope Matt Arnold or any individual on the dev team might be able to allude to whether the desired changes are feasible fixes for them.
