Auto Calculate Factors

This must be a new feature because I've never seen it before. I like it. Except...if I have one of your ballparks loaded from the game it already has ballpark factors. But when I auto calculate, it comes up with something completely different. Which is accurate?

I would also like to know more about this feature. It looks very exciting and promising. Is the auto calculate button more what ideal conditions are while the imported default settings are ratings based on the 2019 season?

The default values are based on previous MLB stats, so these are more accurate for the MLB parks.

If you're talking about modded ballparks, I can speak to my process. I generally used eriqjaffe's park factor generator and kept the home run numbers between .9 and 1.1. The park factor generator in game won't have the same rules, so it would make sense that the results turn out differently. That may be part of the reason for the inconsistency in modded parks.

And yes, the park factor generator is a new (and wonderful) feature - the kind of small thing that won't topline the updates list but makes the game so much more realistic. It's pretty great.

I hadn't even seen this yet but am now curious on how it works within the context of a league?

If all park categories in my league add up to 1.000 how is that affected when a new park is created and given it's own factors? Does AC-factors adjust all parks in the league to return to a 1.000 base?
