For those of you considering buying Gold packs

Last year was my first time playing Perfect Team and I remember seeding at least one of my teams with five gold packs.



This year for a bit of pack opening fun, I decided to seed each of my teams with 25 standard packs.


Result:
Team A: Three diamonds and two golds
Team B: Three diamonds and two golds
Team C: One perfect (Gerrit Cole), three diamonds, and a gold


So for the same price (25,000 PP) of five gold packs and five guaranteed gold cards, I feel like I got a pretty good haul.

You got pretty lucky with that but yes, the regular packs are a better investment in PP for PP value based on the odds, not to mention the 5x chance at diamonds and perfects from 5 packs instead of 1.

This. This is the reason to only by standard packs.

The only Gold packs I'll open this year are the ones I got for pre-order/loyalty bonus and the ones I earn with missions.
