Error when trying to save my game

Each time i try to save or backup my game i receive the following message:

"Error moving league files to the 'auto-save' folder! The auto-save function could not move one of more of the .dat files to the auto-save folder. Please delete the files in the auto-save folder manually to fix this problem."

What does this mean and how do i fix it? I cannot find the autosave folder. I didnt have this error the last two days. I'm afraid that if i close out my game that i will lose my data

Okay, so i found the autosave folder within the "saved games" folder. However, now when i try to save my game it says

ERROR
"DATABASE::save_database - could not save sqlite database file
OOTP tries to roll back the transaction"

followed by

PLEASE READ
"OOTP successfully restored the database files. Your database is NOT saved yet. Please check the disk space and the league folder, then try again."

I'm sorry if this is a noob question, but i have no idea whats going on here. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?

Same problem here (see attached screenshot). Running Windows 10 (which no longer has a "My Documents" folder -- just "Documents" which appears on both my laptop & windows One Drive). I'm using the standard OOTP installation & have tried reinstalling twice. I'm also wondering which of my 3 saved game folders is involved (I have one league imported from 20, one historical replay created on 21, and my PT game.

This didn't happen in the beta version.

Problem continues after today's update

Auto-save error message continues in latest patch.
So I dug into the properties of one of my auto-save files. Noted that Permissions for several of the files are "Read & execute" only.
Is this what's causing the error?

Pieguy 62:
After getting no answers on the forum, I experimented some more. I originally installed into a custom folder. When I deleted that install and reinstalled using the standard installation, I found that a "config" filed referring to the previous installation still existed in my computer (users/yourname/AppData/roaming/Out of the Park Developments).
So I released my license, deleted the ENTIRE ootp21 installation, and reinstalled using standard installation. The problem has disappeared. Maybe this will work for you.

I will give that a shot and see if it works. But just to make sure i understand what you did,

You 1) released your license from OOTP21, 2) uninstalled everything OOTP21 from your PC, 3) reinstalled the game with the recommended install

did you have to edit anything else or mess with any other settings?
