Inaugural Draft

I set up a fictional league; 32 teams with 3 levels of minor leagues. 26 man rosters, no limit on roster size for my minor league teams. I wanted to make sure all levels of the minors were well stocked, and had a 140 round draft (it was the default...in retrospect that was too many rounds.)

After finishing up the draft, I checked the team I drafted for, and all of my early draft picks were on DFA, while my rosters were filled with everyone else. I did select the option to let the AI do the initial set up of my team instead of doing it myself. I checked a few other teams, and they all look the same as mine; minor league level players on the ML squad, while better players are on DFA.

I can go through and fix my teams, no big deal. Will the computer fix their own before their players get released? And does anybody know what would have caused this?

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

That is a bug that way fixed already. We'll release an updated beta later today.

This is a bug in the current version. It will be fixed for the next version (unfortunately, I can't guarantee that teams will auto-correct things when you update - some items are things that needed to be set during the draft itself).

Worst case I will put on my Commish hat and micro-manage everybody.

Yes, this is one case where perhaps a sledgehammer is necessary to fix teams if you don't want to redo your inaugural draft
