Injured, but can remain in the game

I always just thought I lucked out whenever my player got injured, but it was not serious and could remain in the game. I just played a game where my SP hurt his right shoulder base running, but could stay in the game. The next inning he hurts his right shoulder and needed to come out. Is this just a coincidence, or should I take out my players when it says they're hurt but can remain in the game.

I mean, players who have nagging/dtd injuries are more prone to get hurt in-game. An unfortunate coincidence to hit 2 injuries to the player in the same game.
