Hello,

I'd like to take the opportunity to introduce individuals looking for an online sim league to eMLB. We had previously used High Heat Baseball 2002 for our first six seasons, but through an act of insanity, we have completely edited our entire HH database into OOTP5. We are in halfway through our 7th season, and the league has been running since July of 2000.

We offer:

- League voting system on offseason issues
- Full financial model used by OOTP, including additional rules such as Injured Reserve and Article Compensation Rules
- League salary cap system (Promote parity and strategical thinking)
- Live Online Sims in AOL IM Chat Rooms
- Game of the Week where Commish features two owners managing their teams.
- Pleasant compliment of 30 personalities, as well as a very proactive E-Board.
- Colorful website, including boxscores, standings, baseball cards, headlines
- Ethan Knight's Knight Waves - Enjoyable Audio Program on eMLB happenings
- Active mailing list for owners and fans
- Fabulous online sports website - eMLB SportsNet!
- Much much more with the intent to always grow!

I fully recommend this league. If you're looking for a very active league, with excellent owners, this is it. A lot of the owners in the eMLB crossover as owners in my ABL...meaning these guys know each other well and build a fantastic league atmosphere. Give the eMLB a look.

I think it was said there are currently no openings and a few people on the waiting list.

We have had a huge amount of trades done in the past. As a result, we have league presidents who act as the trade commitee. They review the deals to make sure that there are no obvious ripoffs. It's something that was set up in the beginning, when we wanted to make sure that nobody was ripping off others. It hasn't been used a lot, but when people had to step in, there was justifiable cause.

I hope that clears things up. I know everyone has a different opinion on how trades should go down in online leagues, and what kind of structure should be set up to regulate the process. Everyone does something different. This is our system.
