Waiver wire madness

Posted this in the regular forum, but was told to post it here. I’m noticing this happening a lot in my long term test sims.

In the off-season, I’m seeing a lot of veteran players signing 4+ year deals with organizations, and then immediately being placed and claimed by another team on waivers

Most recent example is Jacob Degrom. He signed a 4 year, $36,300,000 contract with the nationals, was placed on waivers the next day and then claimed by Miami a day later .

This is just the latest example but it happens with multiple vets every off season.

Also seeing draft picks being immediately released by their teams. I've uploaded my leauge files under the name WaiverCraziness
