I Can't Play OOTP :(

I had to reformat my PC this past week and in the process had to uninstall OOTP5. Now I have everything back to normal on my PC and I installed and licensed OOTP just fine. However whenever I try to load it up I get a little popup saying "NODIRECTDRAWHW." I click "OK" (only option there is) and then another popup saying "Error InitDirectDraw" comes up.

I'm already falling behind some of the online leagues that I am in and would love to get this problem figured out as soon as possible so any help would be much appreciated.
