You should stay clear of posting your opinion in other people's threads... you have a tendency to UNINTENTIONALLY say the wrong thing.

Just post in your own threads the way you have done lately and you'll will stay out of trouble.

Good logos greatly enhance my enjoyment of my leagues.
It may be 50% of the immersion... the other 50% playing out the league... but good league logos, team logos, jerseys and caps are a huge part of my enjoyment.

I see a lot of dynasty leagues on the Dynasty Forum that have a very good and interesting ideas for a dynasty, but if they don't have good graphics, I personally don't follow those dynasties.
I think good graphics will cause people to follow it more often... about 5 years ago after I started using custom-designed graphics done by the great graphics guys, my views on the Islandian Pro Alliance doubled.

That's why I take some much time in getting good graphics done.
Lately, I just use the creations of low, txranger, knuckler and Lawn Loaf for my new North Island and South Island dynasty.

I just have to be happy with the team names and nicknames they use... I may not always get a chance to pick the town name and team nickname.

That's exactly what you should do and forget posting your requests here on the Graphics Forum... you got very little help in this thread with your requests.

Well, fictional lands may have their own traditions too, you know, and often do in fictional works of literature or artistic expression, whether through visual media, performance art on stages or screens, et cetera, Eugene. True, there are certain colors that are most commonly used by real-world teams, whatever those colors maybe, but often those used colors are influenced by the cultures present in whatever countries they come from. Same thing with the most commonly used sports team names in those countries, I'm sure.

For instance, you wouldn't likely ever see a team called the Warriors in a nation or a place where fighting of some kind has not typically or often occurred in. Or the Yankees from somewhere in Japan, unless they were a band of misfits and/or what some might call delinquents, I think, or something similar.

Team names and/or colors used by various sports teams typically often are chosen as reflections of what may be or was once present in the nearby locations or their self-perceived imaginings of themselves, if I'm not too mistaken here. Or they may be chosen for other reasons as well or instead, at times, too.

Just some thoughts of mine here, as they are now coming to me, in truth. Take them or not as you will and all, of course. Thanks again for all your help here, Eugene. I can't wait to have full sets for all the relevant teams soon, for sure. CD out.

The thread got moved/merged/shrunk by moderator activities, so my posts and other people's posts from the applicable thread got eliminated. I didn't say anything mean against anyone, for example, but my posts, among others, were casualties of the moderator actions, unfortunately. The surviving posts in the merged threads are in another thread, with none of them, or at least not many, that were/are mine. A few of my posts were taken out of proper context by one or two people, and other posts were made following them. The moderators consequently eliminated some posts, and merged a couple of coronavirus-related threads, as well.

I can stand a good deal of things, often, but I will not stand for disrespecting God or the power of prayer, among other things, if I don't absolutely have to. And I responded as respectfully as I could when I posted, or at least I tried to, anyway. I definitely didn't attack anyone's personal beliefs or anything, ether.

Unfortunately, one person is now on my ignore list, but I won't say who, for various reasons. I am still a bit unhappy about what he said, mind you, but I'm not the one who will be his ultimate Judge and all when the proper time comes. I'll have my own words to answer for, I'm sure, when the proper time for me to stand before Him arrives for me, whenever that is, as you know. His life, his choice, obviously. Same thing for me and everyone else in this world, no doubt.

Will write more later, I'm sure, Lord willing and all. Probably will try to do more team sets very soon, if I can and all, you know, Eugene. Thanks again for all your help and advice and all, in any case, then. CD out.

Well, at least this time, I didn't cause the problem in the first place. Besides, even if the posts from me and others are no longer seen by most here, I know Someone else saw them, and I know that He will judge us fairly based on what we wrote in our respective posts. I have no fear of being misinterpreted by Him, for He knows what we wrote, what we meant, and how we thought, et cetera, as we wrote those posts. That's simply just because He knows our hearts inside and out, for sure, of course.

It is good that we have a fair and righteous Judge over all the Earth, and I'm glad for that so very much, Eugene. There is absolutely no mystery about how He'll handle matters that need to be handled by Him, if you really think about it. CD out.

Not worried at all, in truth. I know what I meant and said and thought, and so did others, especially those who agreed with certain thoughts of that nature or similar ones, whether I'd mentioned them before then or not. And I know God does too, for sure. As I said, I won't and can't be his ultimate Judge. I've got my own words to answer for in due time as well, of course, in front of Him. And I know He'll judge everyone fairly, no matter who they were or are or will be, in all of world history, as well. CD out.
