pre-release date

any chance the pre-release date could be moved up if they get the game done in time? my excitement is obvious

They've never done that in the past. The game is never done, so if they are ahead of schedule they will just put more stuff in it.

This.

If we could just move release dates (which, by the way, may be mandated by the MLB since OOTP has the MLB license)...

In my world, the World Series would end on October 31st, and the next season would begin November 1st. What off-season?

Waiting is always tough. If they moved it up, we would still want it earlier. Kinda like ordering that new car and having to wait for them to build it lol.

i think it is because we all want instant gratification. If you purchase on release day you buy, then download and you can play right away. when you pre order you can't play right away so the waiting seems worse even though you get the game a few days earlier. for some reason this year waiting for pre order seems worse than normal.

Will there be pre-download or I assume it will be available at midnight on 17th for pre release and 20th for full?

We haven't finalized exactly what times it will go live on the 17th or 20th. Stay tuned over the next week and we'll let everyone know when it's available.
