Yes it has an impact, I've done testing on this. Check my post history. Interested to test it in OOTP21 as the framing effect has been changed. For better or worse, Matt hasn't said. But I will find out!

If you're just calling for it, let me call for it, too. This is the biggest weakness with the current game, IMO. I have been asking for this ability ever since I first joined in OOTP13.



If you play like I do -- real time, sticking to the calendar (and thus, playing one season every real calendar year) -- eventually, you will end up with nothing but a league of fictional players, as you never start a "new" game and therefore never get access to the draft class that ships with each version.


I feel that since I'm buying OOTP21, I should be able to use its included draft class any way I see fit -- including inserting it into a game I started in OOTP13, updated to OOTP14, 15, 16, etc., all the way up to 21.



Please, OOTP, make this change.
