10/5 Trading Issue

You can use the shop around feature to trade 10/5 players who will refuse any trade you try to initiate in other ways.

10/5 guys can still waive those rights in rare cases. But the shop player won't return any results if he won't accept any deals.

TRADE Question.
Im an old guy (77) so struggle with tech and computer stuff. I'm replaying 1966 MLB, GM and manager of Braves. I can't make the trade option work. Can someone help me with basic steps. I'm not sure this is the correct place to post. Please forgive me if I'm messing up.
