Worst line for a pitcher?

So I simmed this one and won 29-2, naturally, I wanted to take a look at the box score. Check out this line from the opposing team's pitchers - 200 pitches thrown? Is this a bug?

Barcelona IP H R ER BB K PI PS ERA RECORD
J. Creger L 0.2 5 8 8 4 2 44 20 20.65 0-1
B. Lazar 8 21 21 21 8 9 200 111 15.75

Every now and then this is reported, typically the team will bring in a position player is what I've found.

Yowza. Lazar is a 27 year old 1 star Starting Pitcher. Maybe it's time for a demotion. I think I'll run computer manager on all teams.

i played against an SP who gave up 10 runs to start off the game in 1/3 IP....ERA of 270.00

but i cant do this myself right? Only in sims? i know i can put a pithcer at 2B for example but still cant bring a position player in to pitch, right?
