Tournaments not being filled

Is there a possibility that once a tournament hits the deadline time, that we just play the tournament with the teams that are signed up?

I've been in a 64 team classic tournament with a 1750 cap for almost a month waiting for the teams to fill. Normally, I would throw my hands up, but its a 10,000 PP 1st prize.

I think it's worth a look that if there's an update, to allow tournaments to play out, regardless if they're filled.
