This is hiis 98 SE card in a .....you know, no such thing as a watered-down perfect league compared to a major league, but holy smokes.

He lost the 1st decision of 2056. He then went on some insane run where he let up like a total of 30 runs in 29 starts (2 ND in losses, 2 ND in wins, & 25 wins)....and then....start 30 is going great as well...? IN the 5th inning or so he lets up 7 runs and gets taken out of the game. What's even weirder is he pitches just as dominant for the rest of the season including playoffs. Not weird. Unlikely. Unlikelier.

I've included some 411 (information) on real-life consecutive wins records. Vida finsished the season at 25-2 with an ERA of 1.90.

Well, he broke the single-season record anyway.

Wonder if any of the teams that are using that long reliever-after-opener method to rack up like 40+ wins in a season have topped 23.
