Unhappy Cato Problem...

I keep getting this error:

"Run-time error '2147467259 (8000 4005)'.

Field 'Post Pitching.Team cannot be a zero-length string.'

I use the utility all the time and have tried 5 times always starting from the very beginning each time with a freshly unzipped copy of the file, alway re-export the CSV's and.

Its for my history pages for one of the online leagues I'm in. Its for the second season. The first season went with no problems. The error pops up just in the latter stages of it reading the CSV's, just after it copies the "Master Data".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Bingo....Based on one of threads in your link...it seems that if someone is released before the proceed to next season button was pressed and who had appeard in the post season it will cause this error.

Fast foward some...I know the Yankees GM released Mariano Rivera after the Yanks were eliminated in the ALDS by the Bo'Sox. I bet you thats the culprit..

Thanks a bunch...

What did you do to fix it? Just re-sign the player to the team and then redo the CSVs? Or did you just edit the CSV file?

I went into league setup...turned financials off...so I the player would resign. I then redid the CSVs and regenerated the in game HTML league report (online setup)...and then reran Cato for that season.

I tried to manually edit the CSVs but I most of did something wrong as that didn't seem to get it.
