Logos for Contraction League?

I've created a fictional contraction league that offers all of you graphic artists a chance to see what you can do with variations on current MLB teams. I think this would be a cool idea for an online league, and if I had time to run it, I would. But for now, it's just me. Anyway, here are the teams:

The Red Sox and the Braves don't need new logos, obviously, but if anybody wants to take a shot at some of the other ones, that would be sweet. Thanks!

One I did a few months ago when I dloaded a trial version of photoshop. Just changed the team name.

I was trying to work with all the padre logos but they just didn't come out right.

I just added text to the Padre Friar. Made two different colors of the text, not sure which one i like best.

IMHO #2 and #3 are better because the colors go better with the padre's cloak.

Very good work.

Wheels: very nice design...red and black very good...super war bonnet...Personally think solid red or black would stand out more than the red/black blends.
