Was that pic of Kim taken before or after he gave up a game-tying/winning homer?

Actually, Kim's message was for us Red Sox fans, mainly those who booed him during pre-game introductions at Fenway.

all i have to say is the yanks need to win games 1 and 2, i wouldn't want to go into boston tied at one or down 2-0 and facing Pedro on saturday.

Pedro doesn't have a good track record against the Yankees, especially recently.

Must be that Yankee mystique that bothers him and Kim

I heard a Yankees fan call into Boston radio and say this; then the guys pulled up the stats. Pedro's got pretty darn good numbers against you guys. Maybe they had old numbers though. I still like Pedro-Clemens ANY DAY.

it's deceiving. I call it the, "you watch every home game" syndrome. Ya know when fans start sayin that their player is a gold glover because he makes one great play every 10 games to make them forget about the 8 mistakes he made before that.

A good example is Derek Jeter. A below average fielder who still gets credit from Yankee fans that think he has range to his left side. Just because his lack of range forces him to go right, deep into the outfield, and make a leaping throw to get the runner out.

Anyway, the Yanks have played well against Pedro to a point. They strike out 10+ times, but they do come up with a big hit every now and then.

Let's put it this way. It won't be a walk in the park. But, neither game of the series will be.

Hey maybe Kim will do better against the Yankees than when he was with the D'backs. But I guess Lowe will play the role of Randy Johnson and come in to bail out Kim.

I highly doubt Kim is going to get too many pitching chances against the Yankees. I wouldn't be surprised if they leave him off the LCS roster altogether (though I don't think they will).

And casting Lowe as Randy Johnson is a stretch too.

What's Pedro's record against the Yankees in his last 18 starts against them? 4-6 with 8 no decisions. It may be worse than that.
