Who wants to try 8 old-time logos for the UBA? - Page 7

The old english font looks nice but is just to hard to read. I think Im going to go with this style logos for my oldtime league.

If I may offer this small bit of advice, when it comes to fonts with precise aspects to them, such as script fonts with fine serifs on the letters or the old english fonts, try not to put them in dark colours on darker backgrounds. The small serifs of the letters will be overwhelmed by the background and it won't look as good.

In such cases it's better to use light coloured type, or use a different font altogether. If you want to use such fonts, it's best to make them dark letters on a light background, as they'll look better and keep much more of their fine details.

Just a little typographical thing I picked up from my years in the graphic arts business...
