Backups aren't true backups
I'm going to assume that somehow I made the mistake that brought this on, that I accidentally unchecked "enable full coaching system," so all the coaches were released.
But that's what backups are for, right? But I rechecked enabling it, restored from a backup, restored from an older backup, and the coaches were stil released. Any way I can get them all back where they were? And why isn't a backup an absolute snapshot of the game at the time, so I could get them back by rolling back a couple weeks? |

I'm pretty desperate here. There has to be a way to get all personnel back to where they were (without going WAY back, which can work). I need to know how.

Just curious when you restored from the backup, did you restore to an entirely new .lg folder?

A problem is one cannot import from a csv file. I could use the database tool to export coaches to a csv file from before the coaches were released, but then there was no way to import from the csv file. |

Hmm. I’m not quite sure how to help. My experience has been that backups are real backups, but your experience disagrees with mine.
Do you have a previous backup that works correctly, but is just farther back than you want? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did have one from way farther back, yes; but it was better to re-assign managers to all the major league teams-- which was a lot of work.
