using ootp4 roster sets

Is there any problem or issues with using a roster set (like Gambo's 1977 season) that was made for OOTP4 with OOTP5? May I expect that the league .dat files (like schedule.dat, league.dat, etc.) will work with OOTP5 or is there some type of conversion that I need to perform. I already used a 1969 replay league made for version 4.2 that seemed to have far too many triples and didn't handle the schedule well. I think double headers was the problem, but not sure. (It was sure a lot of fun, though, recreating a season from my boyhood). Was this due to a conversion issue of some sort?

I searched the forums for some info about this, but didn't locate anything. I hope I'm not missing something obvious.

In OOTP5, there is an option to import an OOTP4 league. Just make a league in 4 with your files, then import it into 5. Then you can copy the imported files into new leagues as needed.

Boozie1580 All Star Starter Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: MD Posts: 1,255	In OOTP5, there is an option to import an OOTP4 league. Just make a league in 4 with your files, then import it into 5. Then you can copy the imported files into new leagues as needed.
