Restarting an old league on a new game

Hi guys, what with eSellerate closing etc. i've decided to bite the bullet and invest in OOTP XX from the new provider while the all-star sale's on.

My question is this: I have a custom league setup on OOTP19 that I really like... I want to use that format again, but start things fresh from the inaugural draft in OOTP XX. If I just copy the world template file over from my OOTP 19 'world_templates' folder to the OOTP XX one, that'll give me all the same rules, leagues, teams etc automatically, rather than having to recreate the whole thing manually - right?

UPDATE - Decided just to try it and it seems to be working.
