International Tournaments

Hi all,

I wa wondering, how does the game decides which countries qualify for a World Cup Tournament. There are a couple of options, like fixed, where you decide which countries compete in the tournament.

But I let the game decide, by selecting the option to choose on baseball quality

To my suprise, Afghanistan, with a non existent baseball level, was chosen into the tournament. Is there a reason why the game picked Afghanistan?

I want the game to pick random countries, but from the countries with a high level of baseball quality, not countries like Afghanistan...

Is there an option somewhere so the game chooses the best countries, at random?

It picks teams based on some mixture of baseball quality, the overall talent of players from that country, and a little randomness. However, if you have ti set to rotate host countries. It will pick one qualifier completely at random to host and that is how you get one really an oddly picked team.
