League with draft picks and early young players

I am wanting to start a league that has draft pick trading and want to make the prospects higher overall out of the draft so that players end up making the MLB at a younger age. Like in the NHL or NBA some players are able to play and make an impact right out of the draft. So that rebuilding teams can trade for picks and actually have a successful rebuild with young players. Is there any settings that people recommend so that I can make this work?

Assuming you want NHL/NBA like player entry ages set the created player age in league settings>Players to 19-21. Feel free to adjust for your preference. Next, on the same page, you need to adjust the Player Creation Modifiers on the right. Somewhere around 1.2 for each category will get you about where you want. After you get a feel for how strong incoming players are feel free to adjust those up or down to preference. Everything is this game requires fine-tuning. There are way too many variables to have an exact answer. Lastly, turn on draft pick trading in League settings>rules. I personally don't play with that feature on so I'm not sure how well the AI handles it. Have fun.
