Anyone Seen The 100 SE Eric Davis Yet?

Curious to see the card ratings

I would also like to see the 100 Griffey Jr if someone has had a look. Forgot to click on the card when I saw him in the AH for 1.5 million PP.

It's now at 750,000 start and 1,100,000 BIN

I'm no appraiser, but it's a great card and all. My guess of its real value (where it will end up 6 months from now) is between 150-200k. That's my opinion only though.

Wow, that Griffey card is an absolute 5-Tool monster. Even though I'll likely never be able to afford it as a F2P guy, I'm so glad that Griffey finally has an elite card. His Diamond cards are kind of lackluster. The 100 SE card is very deserving for IMO the most iconic player of the 90s. Maybe best CF card in Perfect Team?

I can't remember if you have to get all Future Legend cards, or just most of them. But if it's all then it will continue to be a very pricey card. Given that you also have to collect 100 Vlad Jr and a lot of other rare cards.

Sorry for hijacking the Eric Davis thread.

The Griffey card is a great one, sure, but what a big difference vsL and vsR - that's around the biggest gap I've seen. Wouldn't you end up platooning him in Perfect don't ya think?

At least it's the strong side of a platoon. Trainable at all OF spots and definitely the first PH against righty relievers.

Anyone mind showing the post-fusion Super Saiyan 3 Babe Ruth?

I don't think that one is a special edition... Just the standard Perfect Ruth.

Oh...that's surprisingly disappointing. I am too dumb to realize that. I see that quest and I was like Holy Moley new ultimate Ruth!

I don't believe it! I completely and wholeheartedly agree with your estimate of the ultimate PP value of this card.

You have to factor in the cost of the FL cards needed to lock in the Griffey.

When you do that the "value" of the card is a minimum 750 K. I don't think it ever trades lower unless the FL cards trade much lower. And you need 40 FL to get the griffey.

I agree with HiDesertAce, there's no way the Griffey card will ever be worth 150k. In addition to what he said, you also have to factor in that your Future Legend cards will be locked and unavailable to sell for PP. On top of its composite value, depending on what you're looking for it could be the best CF card in the game. To be honest I don't know why anyone would sell it after going through the trouble and cost of the mission. If it hit 150k I'd even save up to buy it on a F2P team.

Upon further review, you need 40 FL, 10 of which are diamonds 28 golds and 2 silvers. I was budgeting 200K for this, 250K at the outside and that it would take me 3-6 months to complete. Possibly, FL cards are too rare for this estimate. I've pulled 1 perfect and 0 FL cards, so far!

Interesting that he has a 100 rating in CF and never posted a positive defensive rating there in his entire career.

https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.asp...48&position=OF

Davis was more of a guy who didn't get the best jumps or take the best routes to balls, but his speed bailed him out a lot and allowed him to make the occasional spectacular play.

To rate him up there with someone like Andruw Jones is a travesty. Pure fiction.
