I think that's as best of a record as I can get in OL. The team looks like it need serious work before it can be competitive in OL iron, which I have come to realize is like bronze+ of normal league.

In I167, at least one team is going up, but there are four possible.


In B218, I can only guess because I'm not sure if OOTP re-seeds after the wild card. Frankenthal, as the ACW winner, won 92, while one of the wild card teams won 93. If they get re-seeded to play Daytona Beach, one of them will go up for certain. Otherwise, there are three possible promotions, none relegated.


In S254, one is going up, two are possible, none relegated.

All five levels offer the possibility of an OL World Series.


In G332, two are possible, Sanguine and Harlem are going to Silver.


In D358, one is going up, three are possible, none relegated.

Well, good old Cy Young gets shelled for 8 runs in the first inning of his debut and manages to retire just one batter before Whitey Ford has to come on in relief.

Young's debut went like this: walk, single, single, double, single, single, triple, ground out (but the guy on third scored) and another single before he hit the showers for the night.


Since it's the end of the season in 2 games Young will finish the year with a nice 216.00 era.

My team in perfect saved and scrimped for 2+ seasons to get enough PP to buy the 100 Mike Trout... and near the end of this year I did save enough to get him (45k PP!!). Here's his stats for the year:

.143/.373/.224 - 16 games, 67 PA, 1 double, 1 homer, 17 BB (he was intentionally walked twice!). -0.2 WAR.

By the way, near the end of the year I found out I was randomly placed in the whale league, so Washington won 51 games on the year and we finished 71 GB the division winner.

In my opinion, the promotion screen is pure bunk at this point. Promotion is based only on playoff records, so any team that makes the last 4 standing will be promoted. I know the Pro/Rel screen says it's based on playoff performance and then win percentage, but I believe that only applies when more than 4 teams are getting promoted (like in the first couple weeks of the season). Since only 4 teams get promoted now, it's the last 4 alive in the playoffs that go.

That's true, but I'm not sure if the match-ups can change according to the wild card game result, since right now Daytona Beach is scheduled against the wild card winner, which could end up being a team with a better season record than either of the other two division winners.

Unless they changed it there is no reseeding the division winner with the best record plays the winner of the WC game. My other team was a division winner, not with the best record and the team with best record drew the WC winner who had more wins than my team and the third division winner.

Seattle does the same. Each of the 4 playoff series underway has at least one OL team in it.

Cowboys: Just lost in the Wildcard game to the mini-whale. The two whales from my division will play each other, and one of the Freeloaders and Parakeets will likely face the ultra-whale in the LCS. My Silver Tony Gwynn won the batting title, which I seem to win most years. I think that's the best Gwynn card IMO, the All-Star one.

Vikings: I was beat out for the playoffs by the Detective Pikachu team, sorry guys. Howard Johnson put up 9.1 WAR and had a ridiculous line of 48 homers and 61 stolen bases. The 40/40 was worth 3,000 PP... I was so close to 50/50, I wonder if that's an achievement for more PP? He was on pace for 61 homers so I guess he trailed off in the last half.

I loved Hojo as a kid and was sad to see that the card completely sucked. Strikes out way too much and plays horrible defense.
