Importing from OOTP 18 to 20

Hey all, I am trying to transition from OOTP 18 to 20.

I've downloaded the OOTP19 demo off of the OOTP website, but in that demo version, there is no button to migrate my OOTP 18 copy to 19.

Is there another method or demo version that I'm not aware of to help me move my save copy?

Someone else reported this same problem a month or so ago on the OOTP19 Discussions Forum... you might do a search and see how it ended up.

Thay couldn't convert from 18 to 19 using the 18 demo... same identical problem... no button to import.

I believe this is the thread you are referring to (and replied to!).

No solution was posted on this problem other than buying the full game or pinging an admin.

FYI we're looking into this

For now, feel free to open a support ticket and we should be able to convert it for you, however it may take a few days as obviously our support team is quite busy

Sorry, we encountered a problem (invalid department). Please start over.
Im also dealing with this and when attempting to submit a ticket Im hitting the error above. Is there anywhere to submit a ticket about submitting a ticket but seriously do I have any recourse at this time other than to buy 19 or wait for it to be fixed. Or does someone know how I can succesfully submit a ticket

Walsh06,

Are you able to get to this site: http://support.ootpdevelopments.com/index.php?/

I'm able to get here. There are notifications about it being not secure on Chrome and Firefox, but I'm still able to do everything.

ya thats the site. I get that error after trying to submit a ticket. I fill in the details, attach my zip and then it sits loading for about a minute and gives the error. I tried going to https as well and it didnt work.

I would try and submit a ticket only.

They will probably utilize a different method to access files, such as Dropbox or Google Drive for any files.

Sorry should have updated here for others hitting this issue. Ya the problem was attaching the zip. I submitted a ticket without the file and they replied with a link to a google drive to put my save file and they would convert it. I was also told that the updated demo should be released next week so I decided just to hold off and do the update myself when this comes out.

Yes, we should have the demo version to let you convert out shortly. Please don't attach large league files to tickets - If you need to send files to us, please either upload them to our FTP server (http://support.ootpdevelopments.com/...p-developments) or feel free to upload them to a dropbox/google drive/etc... hosting service and send us a link.

Big thanks to the OOTP team. The OOTP 19 demo has the conversion and I was able to successfully move my game from 18 ->20.
