Scouting Director Help

Wondering if I bugged the game out by firing and hiring a new scout just before the initial opening day my new expansion league. I'm still not 100% how this system is supposed to work. I currently have no scouting reports from my director (assuming these will come May 1, since he didn't accept his contract until after April 1?), and when I request scouting info on a player, nothing happens. I go into the scouting page, and it tells me he's busy doing what I told him to, but I get no reports, no emails, no nothing. It's like I'm paying 600K to a ghost. Tried going into the game settings and selecting "rerun all scouting" or whatever it's called and that isn't doing anything either.

I'll have to do that tonight if it still isn't working by the time the calendar flips to May. I should just start over, but I had a really good draft lol

well, that's just odd. even when you re-run scouting?

do you have 100% accuracy on? if so, they are meaningless reports. you get up-to-date ratings at all times.

write down your draft class. assign them to your team in a new game (assumes not challenge mode), but export the draft order and erase your team from the draft -- or at least as many rounds as you care about at the beginning -- commensurate with the players you assigned to MiL

starting over is probably best, especially if may 1st is still not creating a report. you can just create a backup, zoom out and restore backup to look quickly too.

you should still have one at game creation, i believe, because you couldn't have fired him as the game loaded for the first time and scouts players.
