Problem starting the next year

I ran into a problem in ootp5 with my first try at starting the next year, and I was wondering where that leaves me. I got to the point of trying to import new players from Lahman through the draft, and I got an error message (I don't think I had the 5.0 database formatted properly). So, the draft program terminated, the processor ran for a few seconds, and where I ended up is at March 7th on the schedule (which is 1 month before the scheduled season start date).

I'm guessing I've "missed" the draft (which was set up for preseason), but I'm wondering where this leaves me with Spring Training. I'm not sure what, if anything I can do to initiate it, or if I even can at this point. Anybody have any ideas they care to share?

Not really sure but you might be better off starting over AND running a test year all the way through including importing the players, etc THEN if everything goes ok start the league fresh and new.
