Who are your historical league "pinch" guys?
I try to carry a designated pinch-hitter and a designated pinch-runner on my roster each year.
For the past couple of seasons, my pinch hitter has been Eddie Yost, due to his OBP: https://www.baseball-reference.com/p...yosted01.shtml My pinch runner has been the historically obscure Dummy Hoy (oddly, he's a terrible hitter in my league): https://www.baseball-reference.com/p...yosted01.shtml This tandem tends to work out well in late innings with Yost getting on base and Hoy stealing second and maybe third. Who are your "designated pinchers?"

Really? Nobody has go-to pinch hitters and pinch runners?

Art Shamsky sometimes. Ed Kranepool. Al Novikoff, the Mad Russian. Les Mann has been but never effectively. I try to use my OF bench to have one left and one right PH.
