Pitcher Injuries and Warm-Up rule

I'm curious how the AI handles sudden SP injuries when auto-warmup is set to off - does the AI give a new pitcher 'time' to warm-up? Or do they just start cold?

Since I had a bunch of SP injuries one season I started warming up the pen in the 1st inning just in case

they have to follow the same rules.

i think with comissioner mode on you may be able to see their pitchers warm/cold status? not sure. it's been too longn since i played a game out... do we see their status? you could easily confirm or refute your question.

We don't see the AI team's status, but I need to clarify my point - I mean with my bullpen pitchers who aren't warmed up when my SP gets a sudden injury.

If you replace an injured pitcher the new guy always comes in warm.

I have always wondered why you cannot see who is warming up in the bullpen for your opponent. It's not like at any level of baseball in any country on earth you can't see other bullpen or a screen showing it. Why make this a unique point in a game that does a really good job of being realistic?

I don't think the AI uses warmup rule at all
