Quick play to specific batter?

Hey guys I'm curious if you can quick play a sim to a specific batter? I know i can quick play half innings etc. I'm playing out a sim with the Babe and thought it would be pretty cool to track his career and every single home run and the distance. As far as i'm aware the only time you can see the distance of the home run is in simulation....the distance doesnt show up in the box score or anything else....is this correct?

Let me know if there is a quicker way i can track the Bambino's hr's and distances.

Thanks

You can't go to a specific batter. If you want to know the distances they'll be in the Game Logs.

To make sure the Game Logs are enabled, go to the Global Settings screen.

I'm not seeing distance in the game logs for hrs.....I'm clicking on Team name "Tigers" at the top then go to "schedule" and click on the score of the game where a home run was hit.....the HR is listed but nothing about distance.....am i not looking in the correct place?

Go to the Scores screen. If the Game Logs are enabled you'll see the button under the line score. You're looking at the Box Score which won't show the distance.

Make sure you're looking in the Game Log and not the Box Score.

Along the top of the box score is a link to the game log.

You can go to the players profile, select spray chart, click on the ball location and it will give you exit velocity.

Ok i found it. Thank you. Another question I'm reading the log and it says
"3-2 SOLO HOME RUN (Flyball, 78XD, EV 108.1MPH" What does 78XD mean?

Batted Ball Location

See post #3 in this thread for a chart showing all locations.

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=300027

78 means the ball was hit in between LF & CF (position #'s) XD means it was xtra deep - probably warning track stuff

78XD is a ball location in a stadium. It means left center field. 7 is left field, 8 is center, 78 is left center. XD means it's "extra deep.

Thanks so much guys this really helps....what does "extra deep" really mean? I've seen it on home runs only 350ish ft?

The power allies, typically closest to center field. The deepest parts of the park.
