Question Regarding Stamina
In the LEAGUE SETTINGS under GENERAL STRATEGIC TENDENCIES there is item for Pitcher Stamina.and you have options to choose Very Low, Low, Normal, High, and Very High. What do these different options mean? For example, if I choose Very High what does that mean with regard to pitchers stamina?

He can throw about 170 pitches per outing and will be fully rested after a few games.

Everything being relative to a pitcher's personal rating for stamina as well. That is, what Pirates describes would be true for a pitcher with a high personal stamina rating. A low stamina pitcher, in an environment with generally very high league setting stamina, may get tired after "only" 100 pitches. That same pitcher, in say a league with a normal stamina setting, conks out after only maybe 40 pitches.

Stamina in League Setup affects how long (days) it takes a pitcher to recover to 100% rested.
Individual Pitcher Stamina determines how long/deep into a game (or how many pitches thrown) before he tires and has to be taken out. A pitcher with low individual Stamina still tires the same with very low or very high setting in league setup. His recovery time is what will differ. |
