Why can't we have Upper Darby as a listing for a birth city!? Mike Scioscia can't have his hometown listed! Neither can I for that matter... Anyway we can get that fixed?

Wouldn't you class yourself as Philly? I live nearly 50km from my closest city (Melbourne) but if anyone who isn't from Melbourne asks I tell em I'm from Melbourne.

Cant say why it was missed, however if you want to add it to your game you can edit the file world_default.xml in the database folder to add it. Just remember that you will have to reload the file for any existing game, and re-add the line after any update to OOTP.


If you want to do this, you can try the following:
* open the file (notepad on windows?).
* search for "Drexel Hill" (even just Drexel seems to be OK)
* copy the line, and replace the following:
name="Darby"
id="91270"
* optionally update the pop, abbr, and the lat and long numbers if you want.


note that city id 91270 does not appear to currently be in use, but it may be in the future.
