Personal confession: My fave teams are the Red Sox and the Phillies. I'm rooting for the Cubs too just for the sake of a Boston-Chicago WS. The Braves were losers all the time in the playoffs, same recently for the A's (if you cant tell I adore underdogs). the Twins were about to be contracted and i liked them a lot last year. The Marlins are also young. So... I'm only afraid of a Yankees-Giants WS (which will happen):

Yankees over Twins in 3.
Red Sox over A's in 5.
Yankees over Sox in 4.

Cubs over Braves in 5.
Giants over Marlins in 3.
Giants over Cubs in 4.

Yankees over Giants in 6.

And then the Yankees relocate to Vancouver.

Everyone would be _________________________ that much more wise if they would just listen to Tony Gwynn's predictions.

How's this for tempting fate?

I taped all of the Cubs/Braves playoff games. The last game, I was going to tape on an 8 hour tape on SLP speed. That way I would be able to get two games on the tape.

Just after I stuck the little labels on the VHS tape, I wrote Cub vs. Braves on it. I realized that coming up was game 5, and I knew the Marlins had won their series over the Giants.

The next thing I did would be considered a jinx by most Cubs fans.

I proceeded to 'Write in" Cubs vs. Marlins game 1, on the VHS label, underneath the Cubs/Braves writing. And then.....I wrote the final score of game 5. I wrote : Cubs 5 Braves 0.

The Cubs went on to win the game 5 - 1. As we all know, the Braves should never have even scored a single run. Lofton caught that blooper in center, and the final score should have been 5-0.

I was close to predicting the actual final score, three hours before the game even began. Wow! I felt like Edgar Cayce or Jean Dixon. AA the predictor!

I'm waiting for the John Titor = AnotherAlias accuasations to start beginning. LOL!
