Perfect Team Live Cards - Stat Updates?

When do the stats for 2019 Live Cards used in Perfect Team get updated with 2019 stats?

Is this done from the OOTP side once per week since Perfect Team is played online?

I'm trying to find out when I should start seeing some 2019 stats for my Perfect Team 2019 Live players.

By "Stats" I assume you mean ratings?

Next Monday will be the first update.

That is good to know. I assume the update is performed on the OOTP servers since the game is played online and nothing needs to done by the users. We will simply start seeing 2019 Live Player stats appearing, correct?

The ratings change once a week based on real life performance. Stats have nothing to do with real life performance, just in game results.

Anybody know if the card will show the history of the ratings? What went up, what went down. Or maybe there will be a log of what cards and ratings changed each week.

Can a Live Perfect card become a gold card for example if a player is having a bad season?

In theory but they said the changes wouldn't drastic so it would probably have to be a mighty poor season to get to that point, dropping two levels.

I would imagine it's well within the realm of possibility to have them demoted to a diamond card though.

Im not sure how many they are intending to move each week (are we going to see closer to 5 or 50?)

for now definitely quicksell garbage 90s like trevor story and yasmani grandal. dont want to be stuck when they drop to gold and now are only worth 1200. on the same page 89s that are performing well are nice investments. I think the bar in and out of 100 is more substantial, otherwise people are getting hit with a 15K point swing.

I sure hope we can look at a card and see the history. If not for the entire season at least for the current week.

My guess is they're going to be conservative initially while they work out any kinks, so I bet there aren't any drastic changes in the first couple of weeks. We shall see, though.

For each 2019 Real Player there are in Perfect Team game results from their use in playing Perfect Team and there are Real Life performance stats for their 2019 performance on their actual 2019 MLB team. When I click on a player I can look at the tab for Real Life Stats and it shows data from every year a player has played in MLB. On what day of the week and time will these Real Life Stats be updated with data from the last week of real 2019 play? Sunday night at midnight when we reach the end of a Perfect Team season?

From my understanding a players data from Perfect Team play and Real Life play contribute to their overall rating.

Oh, THOSE stats. I always took those as historical real stats.

I have no idea as I never considered they would update those. I'd defer to the developers to indicate if they would be updated.

No. The PT rating for Live cards is based on the initial rating plus weekly real-life stats updates. The player's performance in PT does not impact the rating.

Thanks, that helps a lot with trying to figure out who to keep and who to attempt to sell.

I apologize for all the questions. I am new to OOTP Perfect Team and I am still trying to better understand some of the "under the hood" aspects of the game.

I have really enjoyed it so far. I am currently running two Perfect Teams, one in OOTP 19 and one in OOTP 20.

I just might lose my only 100...with Jose Ramirez struggling so badly.

He's my only perfect too but I could not care less if his overall goes down because he is my starting 3B. If his actual ratings tank THEN I am concerned.

Oh, I thought actual ratings would go down too. I guess you mean not enough to make too much difference (unlike the value of the card if dropping to diamond) I'm trying to make him the everyday 2nd basemen because I have a logjam at third.

They probably would which would be the only reason his overall went down. I kind of misspoke. I thought you were concerned about OVR and a resale value but yea, having his ratings go down would kinda blow.

Why would anyone have those cards to begin with?

because they opened them in a pack? there are always a lot on the market

I'm selling anyone in danger of dropping down from perfect or diamond until I have a better idea of how it is going to work. If they don't you can always just buy them back
