Opener/Follower options not appearing

I've imported a solo game from 19 and looked in the manual for how to use the opener/follower strategy, but the options are not appearing for me. I don't need to start a new game to use this feature, do I?

You need to enable openers on the Stats/AI screen of League Settings. By default, it's set a "0", which means that no one in the league can use the opener/follower strategy.

If you are attempting to use this on the team you manage, you'll need to go into the Set Game Strategy location and check the "use as opener (or follower)" box for each pitcher you intend. Also, I'm seeing that you need to set this to the "override team strategy settings as well.
