On my main team I got 87 Tim Raines from MTL. So that's a pretty sick start..got 80 overall Live David Price from my gold pack.

Edit - Also got 59 Bucky Dent at SS. Can't hit himself out of a paper bag but 99 SS, with 92 range, 99 error, 91 arm and 91 DP. Could be a super cheap Aparicio type to start the year.

I found this amusing... On my secondary team, the computer set my team up to have only one catcher. Backing up Isiah Kiner-Falefa (who, as a Rangers fan, I love, just maybe not so much in this game ) will be 1B Travis d'Arnaud, who does have a positional rating of 61 at Catcher

Weird. d'Arnaud has started 359 games at catcher in his career and 0 at First Base. Strange that he would be labeled as 1B.

I'm waiting until Monday to do two additional teams but am pretty happy with my first. Got a 78 Dom Dimaggio with a 100 rating in CF. In beta, I had way too many gold hitting players with unplayable defense. I think Joe Torre was rated a 12 at 3B and a great hitting catcher that had a 40 something on defense.

MLB.com Mets depth chart has him listed as backup catcher.

Can't complain...

The top of my rotation is...

Roy Halladay
Kerry Wood
Kenta Maeda

I guess we'll see how far pitching carries my FTP team...

Worst pitching ever!

These are only my starter packs (minus an Aledmys Diaz that I don't want/need and that went right to the auction house) for my Raccoons; but I see trouble coming!

Coming up next will be my second team, which will be free-to-play / pack-only (not sure how mad I am so far).

Not too great, ha.

Tulowitzki and Kela were my golds. My rotation is a complete disaster. Going to be a fun year

Live Jordan Hicks and a historical 87 George Springer. Think I might try to sell the Springer, but no clue what to price it at

And here is the second team (only starter packs), which seems to be a WEE bit more balanced, but still doesn't have any attractive pitching whatsoever.

I also already discarded a 2013 Daniel Nava card here.

Free Gold Pack Pulls

Ended up get four Golds out of three free packs. Berger and Deplantier came together. Since I only play with older cards, only Berger has a shot to last long term.

For my first two teams, I didn't get much in the way of good pitching. My best offensive pull is probably Jim Bottomley, though my other team got a Future Legend Tatis Jr, which ain't too shabby.
