Can’t watch replay

I am in P413 and cannot see box scores or watch replays at all. It is not just slow right now but even 2 games back I am unable to watch.

I just saw the stickum about not posting bugs here. I am not sure if a server problem constitutes a bug. If it does I am sorry About posting it here.

I think it's pretty clear that the developer focus is on adding new features and player cards rather then fixing outstanding bugs. This has been an issue since the beta with no fix in site.

Unfortunately your wrong. The developers have explained this multiple times - its a server issue. I'm also in the playoffs, and to be honest I get my boxscores about 10 minutes after the game - it doesn't "ruin the experience for me". I really do want to see this fixed as well, but the constant complaining isn't going to get it done - a simple reminder in the bug reports that your still experiencing the issue would go a lot further.

The problem is that they seem to be content with explaining it away as a server issue. It's not OOTP's fault. But it seems like they can be exploring other options since this is a constant issue with the current provider.

EDIT: it sounds like this will be resolved for 20.

I did not mean to start any trouble here. I just wanted to let them know because I watch every game and the playoffs are the best ones to watch and adjust the lineup to. I am sure Markus and company do everything they can because they want this to succeed. I was just letting them know it was not working and hoped others would also state their league so Markus could see about fixing it. 😁

Do the developers not have a choice as to what servers they use? This is a poor excuse by them to pass the buck and try to evade responsibility.

Magically they are getting it resolved for OOTP 20.

The worst is when you can't even get into PT because you can't download the new file. I've had the download error kick me back to the start screen and then I can't get back in at all.

You should pay more attention. They are coding a different method to avoid the issue with a third party hosting provider. Also, you ever heard of contracts? I do not know if they are month to month with their hosting provider or if they are locked in for a specific time frame. Further more, I don't know if they had negotiated SLAs with this provider but your "evade responsibility" comment seems out of ignorance of how this stuff works.

When people spend a crapload of money on a game (like thousands of dollars), they have different expectations and they should.

It's not like Fortnite is going to accept their servers not working right for weeks if they had a contract with some other company.

PT has set the bar much higher than just a small mom & pop development company. There of course will be growing pains, but the expectations are going to be much higher than they were before PT.
