Lock icon gone. Please help.

I use the Disable AI Promotion/Demotion a lot. The icon logo that normally shows a lock next to the players has disappeared for everyone. I did not update the game. I did not change any settings that I know of. I can not do anything to get the icon to reappear. This is extremely frustrating because when I start a new season I like to take it off of everyone. I have gone through each setting a dozen times and can't find the problem. Please help because as of now I have to try and remember every player and go to the Actions-Transactions-Disable/Enable just to see if they are locked.

Edit: The promotion/demotion lock icon just appeared again after playing a few games. It's working fine now. I have not clue what caused it to disappear but now it's working fine.
